Question 1

How does Recoverly capture leads?

Accepted Answer

Recoverly captures leads through two channels. When a call is missed, Recoverly follows up by text and gathers the details. When a visitor lands on your website, the Website Agent can start a conversation right there. In both cases, the completed lead is delivered to the contractor so they can take it from there.

Question 2

Do I need a new website or phone number?

Accepted Answer

No. Recoverly is designed to work with your existing website and your existing business phone number. The Website Agent is added to the site you already have, and your business number keeps ringing the way it does today. Recoverly only steps in for the moments you can't respond immediately.

Question 3

How fast does Recoverly follow up?

Accepted Answer

For missed calls, the text-back goes out within 30-60 seconds of the call being missed. For the Website Agent, the conversation starts as soon as the visitor engages on your website — no waiting for a callback.

Question 4

What does Recoverly collect from a lead?

Accepted Answer

Service or job need, location, timing or urgency, additional job details, customer contact information, and photos when they help explain the job. The contractor gets a clean summary and follows up directly with the customer.

Question 5

Does Recoverly quote prices, schedule jobs, or replace the contractor?

Accepted Answer

No. Recoverly does not quote prices, schedule appointments, promise availability, or handle payments. It is not a CRM or booking system and does not replace the contractor's existing communication with customers. Recoverly keeps the lead warm — the contractor takes it from there.
